|
RegistrationRegistration fees are: $25 base fee + minimum donation (Base fee increases to $35 after June 1.) The registration fee is due with registration. The minimum charitable donation is due by day of event, but may be paid beforehand. Employer matching forms are due by October. The registration fee and charitable donation are both fully tax-deductible, to the extent proscribed by law. "Late" payment for t-shirts and fee for NYC shuttle are not. The minimum donation varies by ride and may be paid in person on the day of the event. Here are the donation amounts, including the late (after June 1) registration fee of $35:
Free t-shirt and water bottle distributed the day of the event. Please register with shirt size by June 9th. T-shirts are $10 thereafter.
100% of donations and registration fees go to supporting medical research, since the LMRF founders pay all fundraising expenses. (NYC shuttle fees and any "late" charges for t-shirts are the exception. Therefore, they are not tax-deductible.) Be sure to look into how to quadruple the effect of your gift. If you're coming from the New York City area, be sure to check out the shuttle (or volunteer to carpool!). On the Day of the RideRegistration can be paid at the event. Checks are preferable, but credit cards and cash will be accepted. Make checks payable to Longevity Medical Research Fund. Registration amounts are listed above.Online RegistrationOnline registration is now available at Active.com by going here.Note that, beyond already being able to quadruple the effect of your gift, Active.com enables you to invite friends to register and to e-mail friends and family to help out in raising funds by sponsoring you. Registration By MailRegistration by snail mail is now closed. Please register online or at the event. See above for comments on at-event registration. Thank you.Refund PolicyRefunds will be made for requests e-mailed or postmarked not later than June 1st. After all, it's for a good cause... |
