Beneficiaries
LMRF, the sponsor and direct beneficiary of the Tour de Sussex, raises funds to support medical research, particularly to explore early precursors of age-related pathology as candidates for preventative medical intervention.
Atherosclerosis is the first target of medical research to which LMRF has passed funds. Due to its role in both stroke and cardiovascular disease, atherosclerosis kills more Americans each year than all cancers combined.
